Every class in the multitudes of tracks available will meet the constantly changing needs in today's internet based society. Whether you want to build the graphical front-end, the database driven back end, or be responsible for the server and site security, there is a track for you.
CIW Foundations (CIWA)
Is the first track in the series. This 5 day course was designed to give students an overall view of the web developement lifecycle. Days will be spend learning the basics of HTML, networking, and Internet skills
Master CIW Designer (MCIWD)
This certification track meets the needs of the basic designer. The five day Site Design course focuses on the hows and whys of web development. Students will spend time learning about the methodology behind web design as well as get the opportunity to use the latest technologies such as Dreamweaver, Flash and PhotoShop. Also in in the track is the five day E-Commerce course where students will learn the dynamics of today's E-Commerce driven economy and how they can build on online storefront.
Master CIW Web Site Manager (MCIWSM)
This certification track incorporates the five day Site Design course and adds to it two more course to really round a students knowledge. Added in is the five day Web Languages course. Students will learn the basics of JavaScript and PERL. Also included is the 5 day Server Administration class. In this course students will learn how to administer a web server. CIW is vendor neutral so this is the one course offered where students will learn Windows IIS server administration right along side Apache on Linux.
Master CIW Enterprise Developer (MCIWED)
This is one of the longest tracks offered by CIW but it is also one of the most inclusive. Students that decide on this track will start with the Web Languages class and move all the way up to developing Enterprise level Java based applications. Included in this track is learning Java and Object Oriented programming principles.
