The Healthcare Information Management Program

Our programs are designed to empower students with skills and knowledge that will increase their workplace competence and advantage. The balanced training program covers premier industry certifications, preparations for Coding, Billing and Insurance, and Microsoft Office computer technologies. The students will receive up-to-date training. Medical bill processing including patient account management, diagnosis, and procedural coding including medical insurance claim processing will be a program focus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer technologies is achieved. The student also receives up-to-date training: including a thorough understanding of medical coding, an understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations, office administration, and popular computer applications. Medical Practice Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Management of Practice Finances are also included to provide a well-rounded robust education.

Balanced Learning
The training centers' professional/general education component teaches students how to write effectively and communicate through written and oral presentations. In addition, the students learn critical thinking, problem solving and decision making techniques. How to successfully interact with their contemporaries in the working environment, and other relevant personal skills including customer service.

This balanced learning approach provides students with an appropriate skill set for their field of study and enhances their management potential.

The effective training combines the best of caring skilled instructors and technology. The integrated, interactive, blended learning includes classroom learning, which is complemented with online learning. The online learning is deployed both in real time (online live) and asynchronously. This allows the student to access the material and reinforce concepts anywhere and at anytime.

The training and learning is reinforced throughout the program with hundreds of real world scenarios (case studies) and practice test questions.
